Consultation on three draft papers developed by the 2024 IAA Artificial Intelligence Task Force (AITF)

Audience: Members and Observers of IAA Committee, Forums, and Task Forces
Correspondents of IAA Full Member Associations

We are pleased to share the consultation drafts (CDs) of the following three IAA papers developed by the AITF as a part of its 2024 deliverables under the Statement of Intent (SOI) for IAA Activities on AI:

  1. Draft IAA Paper - Artificial Intelligence Governance Framework   (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord)
  2. Draft IAA Paper - Documentation of Artificial Intelligence Models   (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord)
  3. Draft IAA Paper - Testing of Artificial Intelligence Models  (Link to Comment template – downloadable in MSWord)

These are the first three of the 2024 deliverables the AITF intends to publish as IAA educational papers, aimed at a broader audience.

We kindly ask that you not only review the documents yourself, but also share them with relevant members in your association, especially with those engaged in AI-related work to review and provide consolidated feedback from your association’s perspective. This will be your association’s only opportunity to provide input on these drafts.

To submit feedback, please use the appropriate Comment Template for each paper (links to three separate templates are provided above). Each template is clearly labelled with the corresponding paper title. Please do not submit comments inserted directly into the draft papers. Please e-mail the comment templates with your comments to: aitf.comments@actuaries.org

Feel free to contact Meet Pandya at the IAA Secretariat (meet.pandaya@actuaries.org) if you have any questions.

We look forward to receiving your feedback as soon as possible, but no later than 15 August 2025.

For more information on the ongoing  work of the AITF, please wisit the AITF webpage.
